Maria Stouraiti is an Associate at Politis & Partners. She holds an LL.B. from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and an LL.M. in International Commercial Law and Practice from the University of Edinburgh, where her studies focused on banking and financial law, corporate compliance, corporate governance and international commercial arbitration.

Maria supports the firm’s corporate, banking and finance, commercial and dispute resolution practices. Her experience includes drafting and reviewing finance and security documents, loan agreements, lease agreements, project contracts and corporate documentation, as well as assisting with corporate structuring, real estate matters and day-to-day legal support for business clients.

She also has experience in civil, banking, consumer and investment services litigation, including the preparation of pleadings, appeals, counter-pleadings and memoranda before the Greek courts. Her work further covers legal research, due diligence, contract review, corporate governance matters, ESG-related questionnaires and the translation of legal documentation.

Maria is admitted before the Court of First Instance and is a member of the Athens Bar Association. She is fluent in Greek and English.
