Politis & Partners Law Firm is an incorporated partnership of Lawyers regulated by Presidential Decree 81/2005 (Athens Bar Reg. number 80121), seated in Athens, 14 Solonos St., GR 106 73. We are committed to protecting your privacy online and this Policy, in conjunction with our Cookie Policy, delineates the framework in which we process personal data held about you. Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, such as name, address, telephone number, email address, tax number etc.

 

I. Personal Data that we Process

Our website visitors are not required to provide us with their personal data, in order to access any area of our website. It is clarified that we do not collect any personal data of website users on an automated method. However, we may collect information you provide us using the e-mail hyperlinks of the website. We may also collect information which is publicly available.

 

II. Processing Purposes

We use personal information held about you to provide you with the services or information requested by you. In addition, we use this information for internal customer administration, as well as to send you material relating to us or updates of our law firm, upon request.

 

III. Recipients of your Personal Data

We do not disclose your personal data to any third party, unless so required by applicable law, or in case this is necessary to bring or defend legal claims against our law firm, to protect our rights under applicable law, or in connection with investigating fraud or other crime. We only share personal data with our IT service provider. We clarify that they only act as a data processor under the instructions of our law firm and for purposes identified by us. In no case do they control your personal data and they are contractually bound towards our law firm to comply with all technical and organizational measures necessary to protect such data.

 

IV. Data Retention

We retain personal data as long as it is required for us to fulfill the purposes outlined under par. ΙΙ hereof, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

 

V. Security of your Data

The security of your personal data is of paramount importance to our law firm. We are committed to the highest technical and organizational measures in order to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, disclosure, destruction or loss. However, unfortunately, the transmission of information via internet is not completely secure, to the effect that we cannot guarantee the security of the data transmitted to us while using the internet.

VII. Your Rights

You are entitled to request a copy of all your personal data we possess. In addition, you have the right to request erasure or rectification of your data, as well as to object to our possession of your personal data. Moreover, you are entitled to withdraw your consent from receiving information from our law firm. Furthermore, we will provide you with the personal data kept by ourselves in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and/or transmit them to the entities of your choice, if technically possible, without any hindrance.
